Cambridge, UK is home to one of the world's foremost research universities and is at the hub of the largest cluster of conservation organisations in the world. As part of the initiative, CCI is creating a unique global campus to further conservation understanding, knowledge and expertise. The future campus will encompass:
- A new University of Cambridge conservation research institute, bringing together academics from across a range of disciplines.
- The headquarters or satellite offices of an influential group of research-based conservation organisations.
- Shared facilities, meeting spaces and resources for researchers, educators, strategists, policy-makers and practitioners to develop innovative collaborative programmes and new ideas.
The new campus will provide an intellectually stimulating environment to drive debate and knowledge exchange; exceptional support and facilities; access to a large pool of expertise in the environmental and social sciences; and excellent linkages to a wide array of institutions, organisations and networks worldwide.
The illustrations above show what the future campus may look like. These images will be updated as plans for the building develop. All illustrations and plans are subject to planning consent.
