I have had a long interest in understanding the drivers of avian population change. This has involved a wide-range of research projects on upland birds whilst I worked for RSPB. I now specialise in work on climate change; leading the BTO’s research in this area. This involves research to document impacts, make projections of the future and to inform adaptation.
