Finding & Travelling to the David Attenborough Building
The building is located in the centre of Cambridge within the University’s New Museums Site. You can download a site map (PDF) showing the building location, bike parking, and main entrance routes. The University’s travel guide (PDF) offers further information.
By Bike
Secure, waterproof bike racks for CCI partner use are on the west (New Museums Site) side of the building; access is via combination code—contact reception for details. Additional parking is available on the podium level (east/Corn Exchange Street side) and throughout the New Museums Site.
The University operates a Park and Cycle facility at the West Cambridge Site with secure lockers. Bookings can be made via this link (CRSid login required). Showers and lockers are available on the lower ground floor via Corn Exchange Street.
Public Transport
The building is a short walk from Drummer Street bus station. See the Cambridgeshire County Council website for bus information. Cambridge has five Park & Ride sites—see the map here.
The railway station is a 20–25 minute walk (walking route map). Taxis and buses are available from the station.
Car Parking
There is no public parking on site. The nearest is the Grand Arcade car park on Corn Exchange Street. Two disabled spaces are available within the New Museums Site—contact reception at least 24 hours in advance to request use.
