Masters in Conservation Leadership
Overview
The Conservation Research Institute supports the delivery of the flagship Masters in Conservation Leadership, which equips students with the applied leadership and management skills needed to create positive change in conservation.
A unique feature of the course is its delivery through a collaboration between the University of Cambridge and ten partner organisations within the Cambridge Conservation Initiative.
The Programme
The course admits around 20 students each year, bringing together graduates from around the world who have at least three years of relevant professional experience and clear leadership potential.
Students come from a wide range of backgrounds, including conservation, public policy, business strategy and the voluntary sector, creating a diverse learning environment built around real-world challenges.
Global Impact
To date, the programme has trained more than 300 conservation leaders from over 90 countries.
Graduates join an active global alumni network that continues to support collaboration, knowledge sharing and lasting conservation impact long after the course has finished.
