Invitation: AI for Climate & Nature Community Day, Thursday 1st May 2025, 9.00-14.00, Main Seminar Room, David Attenborough Building

AI for Climate & Nature, an ai@cam-funded interdisciplinary research programme working on harnessing the power of AI for Climate & Nature solutions, is hosting a Community Day on Thursday 1st May, 9.00-14.00  in the Main Seminar Room (first floor) of the David Attenborough Building, Pembroke St, Cambridge CB2 3QZ.

The aim of this event is to grow the AI for Climate & Nature community, within Cambridge and beyond, provide an opportunity to build new collaborations and hear about the current research being done in this space through a series of presentations from the AI for Climate & Nature projects, flash talks from the wider community, and a discussion/networking session.

Please fill in this form by Friday 11 April if you would like to attend the event and/or present your research.

We are also very pleased to announce that the Keynote Speaker for the event will be Dr Amy Hinsley, Schmidt AI in Science Fellow at the University of Oxford.

The AI for Climate & Nature Community Day is co-organised by: Cambridge Zero, Cambridge Conservation Initiative, Conservation Evidence, Institute for Computing for Climate Science, Conservation Research Institute, Centre for Landscape Regeneration, Cambridge Centre for Carbon Credits and Cambridge Centre for Earth Observation, with support from ai@cam.

The organisers are keen not just for CCI partners to attend, but also to hear from any that would like to present research in this field.
