Outline
This session will help you explore moving from academic research into a career in conservation. You’ll reflect on what success looks like for you, explore roles and organisations beyond academia, and identify pathways that align with your skills and interests. You’ll then turn this into a clear plan, with practical guidance on job searching, writing strong applications, and performing well in interviews - so you leave with both direction and the tools to take your next steps.
Voluntary Task - A short pre-workshop task will be included. It should take around one hour to complete and will help participants get more from the session. This will be sent to you the week before the event.
