WildFish Research Conference

We are pleased to invite early career researchers working on freshwater-related topics to present at our upcoming WildFish Research Conference, taking place at Pembroke College, Cambridge from 23 - 25 September. This conference provides an excellent opportunity for emerging researchers to showcase their work, engage with experts and contribute to critical discussions on freshwater sustainability.

We welcome presentations on key themes, including:

  • Freshwater biodiversity decline: Strategies to halt deterioration in a changing world.
  • Monitoring of freshwater systems: Are we tracking the right indicators? What works and what doesn’t?
  • Catchment management and restoration: Improving water quality from source to sea.
  • Environmental flows: Balancing water needs for people and nature.
  • Science, policy, and management: What needs to change?

Those interested in presenting will need to register their interest by 25th April using the form linked below:

We encourage early career researchers at all stages of research to submit abstracts. Our team will review all submissions and contact the shortlisted applicants directly. Please share this information with anyone you feel might be a good fit.
