Equity, justice and diversity: towards a transformation in area-based conservation in the twenty-first century
Several voices have claimed that in addition to setting goals and targets that are plural, ambitious and holistic and which can guide subsequent actions, humanity needs to nurture an actual transformation towards justice and diversity to achieve nature conservation. This talk will explore how does humanity can deal with this need from two different approaches and what principles and practices may work to nurture this transformation.
