Her current research includes diverse topics, all addressed with a behavioral-evolutionary-ecological perspective: evolution of sociality (colonial and cooperative breeding spiders), mating systems and sexual selection (widow spiders), and spiders in desert agro-ecosystems and urban habitats (conservation biological control, invasive species).
