Festival of Ideas: Play to Win

When Oct 23, 2017
from 11:30 AM to 01:00 PM
Add event to calendar vCal

This interactive game about society and environment is facilitated by placing you into small groups and played using simple tools and accessories (such as coffee beans!). After being assigned a position in society by the facilitator, you will have to decide how you want to shift the rules of the game to win, depending on what winning means to you! This game explores some of the consequences of how resources are managed for society and the environment. It was developed by the University of Cambridge Conservation Research Institute for 12-16 year olds and will be facilitated by some of its members, which span many different disciplines within the University.

Children must be accompanied at all times.
