Coffee Break Seminars is a relaxed online learning and discussion platform for our food security community.

This seminar was held on 26 November at 3pm, GMT. GFS, Cambridge Zero and the Centre for Science and Policy discussed: 'How can we achieve both food security and net zero?'

Dr Angela Burnett organised this event as part of her David MacKay Cambridge Zero Darwin College Research Associate project.

The panel explored the interplay and tensions between achieving food security and net zero from a variety of perspectives. Panellists considered crops for food and feed, their contribution to food security, and the use of technologies to improve food security and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
