PhD students and postdocs are invited to a briefing session for an Ideation Workshop for Healthy Eco-systems planned for 9 September 2022 from 11.00 to 12.00 online

The Ideation event is a creative, cross disciplinary, facilitated workshop to accelerate innovative ideas which may promote healthy eco-systems. This event is being organised jointly by the Interdisciplinary Research Centres on Energy, Global Food Security, Public Health and the Conservation Research Institute. We hope to support ideas which build on some of the recommendations from the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), UN Sustainable Development Goals and the latest report of the Food and Agriculture Organisation.

Early Career Researchers and postgraduate students from different disciplines/departments across the University of Cambridge are invited to form small teams (between 3-6 people) and to come up with and develop some ideas for solutions to the most pressing climate change questions related to healthy eco-systems.

We will host a briefing session online on 9 September 2022 from 11.00 to 12.00 to introduce the workshop and allow attendees to identify potential ideas and find collaborators. This will be followed up with an in-person workshop held on 14 October at the Maxwell Centre, as part of the Cambridge Zero Climate Change Festival 2022.

We particularly welcome applications from BAME students/researchers, women, students with diverse gender identities, and other underrepresented groups.

Briefing session at 11:00  -12:00 on 9 September online.

Date of workshop 10:00 - 13:00 on Friday 14th October in the Maxwell Centre, West Cambridge

Open to Early career researchers and PhD students.
