A Virtual Mapathon!

Missing Maps Cambridge regularly sees around 30 volunteers spare a few hours of their day to support projects ranging from helping end FGM in Tanzania to supporting the Clinton Access Health Initiative elimiate malaria through mapping regions in Zimbabwe and Guatemala. As of March, the Missing Maps Cambridge group has now made over 60,000 additions to the map!

No matter whether you're an experienced Humanitarian Mapper or have never done anything like this before, come along to learn more about OpenStreetMap, GIS and the Missing Maps project.

We will do an introduction on how to map and teach you how to edit OSM and work with the HOT Tasking Manager on mapping tasks.

All you need is a laptop, and preferably a mouse (makes the mapping faster!)
