Twitter is a source of abundant and free data that can be obtained for analysis. In this session, I will explain the methods that I used to collect data from Twitter, as well as the R codes used to clean and analyse the tweets. This will also include a brief introduction to sentiment analysis of text data.

The Cambridge Masters in Conservation Leadership is a ground-breaking course that equips students with the applied leadership and management skills needed to create positive change in conservation.

Jointly hosted by UCCRI and Public Health. Sir David King will deliver the keynote speech on the topic of Planetary Health “Safeguarding both human health and the natural systems that underpin it”. 

The Conversation is an independent source of news and views, sourced from the academic and research community and delivered direct to the public. Professional editors work with academics and researchers to unlock their knowledge for use by the wider public.

This workshop will explore the social life of plastic and seeks contributions from a range of disciplines including but not limited to anthropology, sociology, area studies, STS, history, economics, linguistics and geography.

Professor Vira will provide an overview for those of you thinking about writing grant applications or wanting to prepare yourself for when the time comes.
