Help care for green spaces and their wildlife - get active, meet others and enjoy learning. All instruction, equipment and tools provided but if you have loppers then please bring them. Wear tough clothes and footwear and bring drinks/snacks. No need to book, just turn up. Meet at the Coton Reserve car park, Grantchester Road.
Volunteering is permitted during lockdown. We have put in place measures to reduce the risk of Covid-19 so that you can have a great time, make a difference and stay safe. All activity will be outdoors and you will work socially distanced from other people. If you need to share tools then the contact points on the tools will be sanitised before and after use. We would recommend that you bring your own work gloves but we will have a supply of gloves which have not been used for at least 72 hours. Unfortunately we will not be able to supply drinks or snacks so please bring your own. In the event that first aid is required our staff will have PPE. We will have hand sanitiser available but we recommend you bring your own. Occasionally, closer working might be needed, you do not have to participate in this but if you wish to do so then you will need to wear a face covering, so we recommend that you bring one with you.
