Cambridge Enterprise are currently seeking an entrepreneurial Investment Associate for the Physical Sciences arm of our Seed Funds team, which manages a highly successful £30 million early stage technology fund and actively supports the development of technology start-ups from the University of Cambridge. The role offers an opportunity to work with remarkable founders, and a clear focus on the societal impact of the companies in which we invest.

Supported by and learning from Seed Fund Investment Managers, the post holder will work both with academics wishing to build new companies (to provide advice, mentoring, connections and investment), and with companies already within our portfolio. The work will also include transactional paperwork and straightforward legal agreements, carrying out due diligence checks, participating in outreach activities, and analysing data with the objective of strengthening relationships with external stakeholders.

Location: Our office base is in Cambridge, however due to our flexible and remote working ethos, we are also open to applications from outside the Cambridge area.

Closing date for application: Monday 4 January 2021
