Global Alliance of Universities on Climate (GAUC) - Pathways to Net Zero Emissions
This conference will be held remotely and consist of recorded presentations and live discussions. The live discussions will take place on 16 and 17 September, and recorded presentations will be accessible from Tuesday 1 September.
Presentations can be focused on any area (eg technologies, policies, economics, etc) but must be connected to the overall theme of the conference. They should however include recommendations for how to support decision-makers in the public, private and third sectors about pathways to net zero emissions.
Each presentation should be a maximum of 15 mins. Presentation will take place on 16th & 17th September between 13:00 and 15:00 BST. A set of proceedings from the conference will be published afterwards.
In the first instance please submit the following information:
- Title of presentation
- Abstract of no more than 300 words describing content of presentation
- Five keywords about the presentation, including at least one selected from the following: technologies, policies, economics
This information should be submitted via email to r.e.ward@lse.ac.uk and cc’d to Hawa Sydique hma33@cam.ac.uk by 16:00 BST on Friday 26 June 2020.
Successful presentations will be notified on Monday 6 July. Recorded presentations together with an extended abstract of no more than 900 words will be due from presenters by Monday 17 August.
