My background is in the macroecology and evolutionary ecology of plants and birds. I did my PhD at the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre in Frankfurt looking at the ecological and evolutionary dynamics of climatic niches in birds. Since finishing my PhD in January I have been continuing to work at the institute as a post-doc looking at trait based vulnerability of birds to human disturbances.
