Nadia Rehman is a PhD student in the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on innovation in financial instruments for climate responsive investment and diplomacy in emerging markets.

As a current Member Climate Change at the Planning Commission of Pakistan, she leads the country’s public sector investment portfolio for climate resilience. She serves on the board of directors of commercial banks and the National Disaster Risk Management Funds to provide strategic oversight to unlock private capital for climate response. She has worked in senior advisory roles with Asian Development Bank and the World Bank with the Government of Pakistan to advise on International Trade Agreements and Economic Diplomacy. Nadia has also worked in a technical role at the Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington.

Nadia holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Green Growth and Development Strategy from Harvard University, 2020, and Master in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Duke University.
